Summary
Warriors learned most of his hero skills in battle. How to lead, how to comfort, how to defend, and how to distract. How to be a good leader and a better comrade. He learned as fast as he could for his country, and for his Queen, and for the child heroes that were summoned to help him when he was not enough on his own.
Those skills failed Wild, but he will still learn. He refuses to fail this new hero, Linkle. He will be open and willing to listen when asked for help even when help cannot be asked through pride or uncertainty.
Faced with grim news from home, Warriors was starting to recognize how out of practice he was when it came to asking for help for himself.

Summary
Ganondorf wasn’t wrong; the gods were the ones to flood Hyrule, not him. Link could recognize, as powerful and terrifying as the man was, that none of the girls he kidnapped had actually been hurt. Even he and Tetra, who actively got in his way, were barely given more than a bruise in the man’s rage while they fought.
So, in that single last chance Link had to finish their fight for good, the decision was simple.
He spared him.

The one-shot series Sweater Weather, revised and polished as a chapter fic! Posting on Fridays!
This fic takes place after the Hosu arc and skips straight to the kids moving into the dorm. This is my fun little interim AU wherein the kids get to deal with their emotional baggage and interpersonal drama without having to actively fight for their lives, at least for a little while. Sweater Weather is 100% a self indulgent comfort fic, diving right into all the classic tropes of mutual pining and hurt/comfort. It started off as a series of one-shots, but as the chapters go it becomes more detailed and cohesive. I hope it makes you feel cozy!

Two days after their first contact—and more importantly, their first words—Grace sets up his thinking machine to speak.
Rocky does not need the assistance of a machine for Grace’s language. It is ugly and harsh to listen to, but it’s relatively simple to learn. That, and, well—Rocky was alone for a very, very long time before he met Grace. He maybe hangs on to each word a little more than strictly necessary. Grace only needs to tell him each word once for Rocky to know it forever.

Rocky’s vents rattle like a sigh. “I know.”
“So what is it that you’re so upset to leave behind?”
There’s another long, silent moment, stretching until I start to worry that I’ve finally done it: found the first-ever cultural or personal barrier between us that we can’t cross together. I’m long past the point of being able to pretend that Rocky doesn’t mean the world to me – more than the world, actually, literally. I don’t need to have all my memories back to know that the moment we were reunited after I turned back for him was the happiest I’ve ever been. So I just can’t stand the thought that he’s hurting in some part of himself I can’t reach.
Then Rocky says, “Am upset to leave bodies of crew,” and my heart stops.
