Summary
Zuko is running.
He has never been one to enjoy such activity, though now he desperately wishes he had done more of it, as every breath pulls harder and harder against his ribs as he bolts through the thick foliage.
He is not built for this.
He is a not a god of hunt, or war, or swiftness.
He is a gentle thing. He is budding blooms, green grass, and warm sun. He is relief, and hope, and prosperity, and baby lambs taking their first wobbling steps.
Though being the god of springtime does not help him right now.

Summary
When Sokka was born, the moon spirit saved his life. Now, three years after Fire Lord Iroh ascended the throne and called for an end to the war, arrangements are made for a union to ensure lasting peace between the nations- a marriage between Prince Sokka of the Northern Water Tribe and Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation. As the two princes struggle to find equal footing, rebels still loyal to Ozai threaten to bring an end to the fragile peace through any means possible.

Summary
“Well, don’t you have a barnacle in your side, sweet thing. Why the grumpy face?”
Zuko scowls, slamming the door to the lower deck behind him to keep the echoing lilt of the voice from reaching his crew above. “This is how I always look.” Whatever attempt he makes at crossing the distance calmly turns into more of a tromp, especially as the glowing sharp blue gaze narrows in amusement.
“Come now, I already know that isn’t true, I have seen you all blood flushed and dreamy before.” A pair of arms reach above the wooden tank to fold themselves along the lip, and the creature smiles as he rests his large head down across his forearms. “Even if you did manage to break from it, clever princeling. Shall I sing for you again?”
Or: Zuko catches a siren, and instantly regrets it (until he very much doesn't)

Summary
Sokka waits, weighing the pros and cons of chancing stepping out into the lantern lit street once more, and ultimately deciding against it. He turns instead to head back down the alley, twisting his way around the narrowly cleared path filled with empty sacks and crates, and nearly falls flat on his face when his foot catches on something he tries to step over at the same time it tries to jolt away.
Still, he is shocked enough to go wheeling forward, and his bag of carefully procured supplies goes tumbling free to scatter all over the ground as he catches himself. “What the-?”
But the moment his eyes catch it, he is frozen to the spot.
The leg he had fallen over, being pulled beneath a body.
And there is a moment of icy dread, fear instant and instinctual before he can stop it but the sight of shredded clothing, of bruising, of the unfocused gold of a pair of eyes attempting to make sense of him, has a different concern immediately taking over. “Zuko?”
