Summary
Tim came to with the vague sense that something was wrong.
For one, hadn't he been in the middle of a mission? For two—
Oh. Oh, that's why. Tim felt like that snowman in that one ice animation, what was his name? Right, Olaf. The only difference is that Olaf is made of snow, and probably could not feel the stake that is coming out of his chest.
Well, that, and the fact that Tim's very own chest-stake is made of metal, instead of ice

"Yeah, it's fine," he says. "Just be careful on the—"
The rest of his sentence is drowned out by the sudden wave of pain that engulfs the entirety of Ric's left head, the side with the scar. It feels like a hammer is pounding its way out of his head. It feels like needles are being jammed in. It feels like every single nerve he has in his body has migrated into his brain, and they are screaming for attention.
Ric doesn't remember being shot, but he thinks that this is what it must have felt like.

Summary
batman@batcomputer:~notes/interpersonnel_notes/robins$ nano introducing_robins- keep previous robins in the know as much and as early as possible. do not wait months before doing introductions.
- do introductions in a neutral place with neutral names. as much as possible introduce as something else first, like "your new brother" rather than "my new robin"
- make sure to emphasize that the new robin is not intended to be a replacement for the previous robin

Summary
Inoichi’s decision to adopt the boy was a spur of the moment thing, but he stood by it, and he could not be prouder of both his children, even if they lived to give him grey hair.
Or, how a Yamanaka-trained Naruto went and cheerfully dismantled the last shreds of Sasuke’s self-image because conventional therapy obviously wasn’t working well enough, and then proved that even the best minds could be entirely dumb when it came to romance.

Summary
The truth was that the decision had very little to do with Bruce, or Tim, or even Dick himself. There were two reasons why he couldn’t go; or, more accurately, two reasons why he had to stay.
Or: Dick takes Rose and Sophia with him to New York. It's just him, two new little sister figures, an apartment, and a whole universe of guilt and grief.
