“Don’t start, brat,” Tsunade silenced him, voice hard. It was not the time. “I don’t think you’re going to like it, but you deserve to see this before our idiot Rokudaime destroys it quietly.”
Tsunade had known the Hokage’s power could override almost anything, but unlike her sensei she never thought to use it on adoption papers.

Summary
Operation Guard Dog was when an ANBU changed places with the asset to provide the asset with an additional layer of identity security. It was rarely used because it required that the asset be skilled enough to pass off as ANBU and the need to protect their identity outweigh the dangers of masquerading as ANBU.
It was fortunate that Minato-sensei had insisted on wearing the ANBU uniform, Kakashi thought to himself.
AU where BNHA adults meet ANBU Kakashi and are appropriately appalled.

Summary
Kakashi kept his eyes closed as the world came into focus around him. The stale air smelled vaguely like old sake and burning kerosene, the ground beneath him gritty and cold. His mind was too sluggish for him to process more, however. I just want to go back to sleep, honestly.
Well, that was concerning. Usually, he couldn’t sleep.
…Where am I?
