Summary
“—and this is my son, Conner,” Lex finishes whatever he was saying, his hand landing on Conner’s shoulders.
Tim sputters, his wide eyes darting between Lex and Conner in shock. How had Luthor possibly managed to hide a son for almost two decades?
“Son?” He blurts out.
Or:
Tim can’t figure out why Lex has chosen now to suddenly reveal the existence of a son, but he’s determined to get to the bottom of it.
As long as he can get his heart to behave first, and as long as Conner doesn’t discover his true motives for dating him.

Off to the side stands the cause of it all, absently flipping through wads of bills. Red gloved fingertips count the cash, and Johnny’s eyes trail up from the movement to the masked face.
The Spider. Lounging at the scene of the crime. Literally!
“Hey, hotshot,” the Spider drawls, hardly looking up from his prize.
Or:
The Spider is a notorious villain. Peter Parker? Not so much. He’s just Reed’s intern.

Summary
Erik is a skilled Technical Engineer. He's brilliant, top-grade, steely and incredibly successful. So why then is he being forced to work with Tony Stark on a top-secret new job for his company? Poor project management...that's why. And he's furious for it. Stark is insufferable to work with, he hates making the commute to their meetings, and now he's having to spend nearly every day in the cramped little References Department where the project is meant to be installed.
To top it off, it's all still a secret, the office staff are incredibly nosy, and the department head-...well, he's unbelievably distracting.
To say the least.
Honestly, Erik really didn't expect to meet a man like Charles Xavier in an office like this.

Summary
"I do believe the two of you were in the same year as boys, were you not?" Headmaster Shaw said. "Charles is the most competent deputy any headmaster could ask for, Erik, and he's been doing this for years…" He trailed off, as if finally noticing something odd in the way his Potions and Divination masters were staring at each other.
"Of course," Charles said quickly, his voice only a little hoarse, and stuck out his hand. "Welcome back to Hogwarts, Erik."

Summary
Erik Lehnsherr, the junior senator from New York, is a once-in-a-generation political wunderkind. There are even murmurs of a potential bid for President. But at 34, as a young, unmated Alpha, even his most fervent supporters are wary. Finding a bondmate would give him a far greater air of credibility. But dating as a well-known politician is public relations nightmare waiting to happen with no guarantee of finding the right person. Raven, Erik’s campaign manager, has a solution: her brother, Charles Xavier.
Charles has finally found his niche, researching genetic mutations in relative anonymity. Then he gets a call from his sister asking an impossibly huge favor. He's the ideal politician’s mate, but having fled that life years ago, he has little interest in politics or returning to the pretentious, exclusionary upper echelon he loathed during his childhood.
When the two finally meet, sparks immediately fly, making it the perfect pairing of convenience. But it’s more than a question of chemistry. They have to survive the media, the tabloids, and the political opponents who’d love nothing more than to take them down.
