Summary
When he pulls himself over the top of the cliff, head swimming with exhaustion and breaths leaving his body in quick jerking pants, he is not alone. The Road Runner has remained to watch Sisyphus climb.
This is not particularly unusual. Before the trial, before the Road Runner ran to DC to vouch for him and Wile E. found himself unable to go through with a trap for the first time in his life, he would sometimes remain to watch Wile E. drag himself out of a hole or up a cliff or recover after a particularly bad explosion. Before, Wile E. always assumed the bird was taunting him, but after the Road Runner acknowledged his suffering in front of an entire court and declared him a friend, he is not so sure. The thought makes his belly squeeze in something unlike hunger. It makes him want to puke.
What is unusual are the gifts.

Wile E. realizes that the Road Runner is attempting to court him. He has mixed feelings about this. -

Summary
Driven by an all consuming obsession, Wiley transfers into Rhodes' major of study, hoping to grow close to him. His plans are quickly complicated by the strange and warped dynamic between his new peer group and their oddly macabre approach to tackling course materials. But his fatal attraction to Rhodes only grows stronger.
As he attempts to establish himself in Rhodes' life, a sudden violently bloody event and a dark secret shared between them binds them closer than he ever could have dreamed. As their love grows, so does the tragedy it leaves in their wake.
TDLR: Wiley and Rhodes are both clinically obsessed with each other. Murder, paranoia, messy and VERY weird relationships between their classmates surround them. They make each other worse.

Summary
Wile. E, after the revelation that he is considered a friend? towards Roadrunner, finds that their dynamic has changed in the aftermath of the trial.
With this he just wants things to go back to the way that they were before the Acme lawsuit, but now having to build all his equipment from scratch and having Roadrunner always near even when not in a chase, it has left quite a bit of frustration in the coyote. Things were so much simpler before. He longs for the days when it was just him and his roadrunner, and the injuries inflicted on him by the faulty products of Acme. He also has a bit of suspicion that Acme might try to take revenge on him for the lawsuits that are now coming their way but doesn't have proof of it. Luckily for him his prey has got him covered for that.Or Roadrunner is keeping watch of Wile E. to make sure that Acme doesn't harm him in any substantial way and Wile E. is oblivious to the war going on that is right under his nose and thinks Roadrunner is cheating on him with another toon.
