“–all day long!” finishes Grian, cheerily, and caps the verse with a bright, “Fuck off!” He extracts his hand from Pearl’s to summarily give both Watchers the finger.
“YOU WILL COME WITH US,” says the second, slightly taller Watcher.
“Eat shit and die,” says Grian, promptly. “I’m not going anywhere.”
(In which the Watchers come to retrieve Grian from the void, but are foiled by the twin powers of teeth and cursing. And friendship. But mostly teeth.)

His handwriting had deteriorated significantly between beer two and beer five, admittedly, but it’s fine. “Tango. If you don’t mind me asking– what are you?”

Joe, far from his usual cheerful-verging-on-manic demeanour, looks… distracted. “Oh– hey, Tango!” He sighs. Or– it’s not exactly a sigh. More a long, heavy exhale of air. “It’s. You know. It’s not bad, considering it’s a Face Day." He says it like that should mean something to Tango.

The browns of it blend in well enough with the woods, the shadows, but the streak of neon green is its undoing. A flag, in the darkness, baiting Etho on.

When Scar wakes up to find Grian perched on the foot of his bed, he’s not surprised. Alarmed, yes. Frightened, a little bit, though he’d sooner be put in thumbscrews than admit it. But surprised? No. Not at all. There’s a certain narrative symmetry here – though Grian’s never really cared about symmetry. In his builds, maybe, sure, but certainly not in the stories he tells.
(Grian goes red, and decides to pay Scar a visit. Scar has... complicated emotions about this. Grian does not.)
