‘How many times must we talk about this, Nardo? You can’t get up without a bit of help, you physically aren't able to. I keep telling you to wait for Casey, or call me, or call the others. Now you'll obtain another bruise. Nice going.’
Leo bit his lip and glared at the floor. ‘I don't need help.’”
Or: Leo states with half baked confidence that he can do things himself. Long story short, he can’t, and Donnie’s the only one who can aid him on his quest to get out of bed.

Leo's eyes widened.
His mouth opened and closed a few times as he tried to process the words. He searched for a response but found nothing to respond with. He felt frozen and stuck.
Shit.
"I... didn't want to assume anything," Raph started with a panicked expression, scratching his neck anxiously, "I... saw yo—you were gonna... I didn't know how to bring it up without it sounding like a slap in the face. I-I think no response was my answer to all my questions."
And that was all Leo needed to hear to start panicking.
Raph knew.
That wasn't good. That wasn't good at all."
Or: Leo attempts to kill himself a month after the invasion. Inconveniently, someone stops him before he can follow through with it.
