I stepped carefully over the nearest unconscious human and made my way next to the module's hatch, putting my back against the wall next to it and my finger on the safety of the projectile weapon I had "borrowed". I didn't think there would be any boarding attempts, but with the way my luck had been going for the past 47 minutes, it wouldn't surprise me if I was wrong.
I was still alive, which was a good sign, though I knew I had to do something soon, because I didn't know how much patience and/or curiosity I had in my favour with our surprise host. I sent out a ping.
