Summary
Jungkook is a 23-year-old startup founder who doesn't know how to slow down. His life is perfect at work but nowhere else. On one particularly terrible day, he derails and drives to a bar.
However, alcohol isn't the only thing he finds at the bar. He also finds Kim Namjoon, who is recently divorced and nearly 40, and although it's been ages since Jungkook dated, let alone had sex, there's an instant spark between them.

It was 00.14 January 1st and somewhere Jungkook could see the rest of his friends crowding around the poor waitress trying to hand out trays of champagne. Seokjin had scored an invite to a rooftop party in the city for them all, a friend of a friend who they suspected was trying to impress him. A sharp departure from their usual New Year’s Eve plans, if you could call texting their wider friend group asking if anyone was having a party that night and if they could bring a few friends a ‘plan’. But this invite fit Jungkook’s plans perfectly: sweeping views of the city, free champagne and a pool it made the perfect backdrop to finally ask Kim Namjoon out.

The 5 times Jungkook tried to ask Namjoon out and the one time Namjoon beats him to it.

Summary
Namjoon tries to appear harmless, palms held up and open so that the omega before him can see that he is weaponless. He tries to keep his scent calm and barely there, sure that him signaling his own alpha-ness will only make the situation worse. Because no matter how much of an alpha he is, and no matter how long he has already survived this current zombie-infested world they are living in now, Namjoon doesn’t even entertain the idea of being able to survive having his throat cut open, or pierced through, by a knife’s blade.
The omega holding the blade steadily by his neck seems to think the same, as he bares his teeth and hisses.
(or: it's weird to see an omega all on their own in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and Namjoon wants to help)

Taehyung was afraid that an abandoned hybrid like Jungkook would be wary or anxious or—standoffish, at the very least.
But the day he brings him back from the hybrid adoption center, Jungkook, with his face redder than Samyang’s Extra Spicy Roasted Chicken Ramen, asks if it would be okay to hold Taehyung’s hand.
