Tis the season of kinktober!
In this alternate universe, Hogwarts offers two additional years beyond NEWTs for students who have come of age. At the start of their eighth year, every witch and wizard is classified: dominant or submissive, with subtypes such as brat, little, caregiver, master, among others. Any soul bonds are discovered and announced as well. Classification is a normal, accepted part of wizarding life, and engaging with it keeps a witch or wizard's magic stable and replenished. Rejecting it can cause their magic to become volatile endangering their lives and everyone around them.
When Harry Potter is classified as a submissive little, bonded to the very dominant caregiver Severus Snape, he wants nothing to do with either. But his magic doesn't care what he wants. Harry will have to learn what he really needs, and who he truly is when he stops fighting it.
