“No,” Geoffrey said quickly. “Arthur remains king. But until he returns, someone must govern in his absence.”
“A Regent,” Gaius said quietly.
“I am afraid so.”

OR: Arthur is missing, Camelot is vulnerable, and the longer its king remains gone, the more dangerous that absence becomes. Someone must govern until he returns. Unfortunately for Merlin, Arthur already decided who that someone should be.
