Summary
When Steve said he wanted to court Tony, he assumed that he just meant that he wanted to take thing slow. And that was fine by Tony. No really, he could do this thing if that's what Steve needed (shut up, Pepper; he so could). Because Steve was worth the wait.
But then the gifts started coming and the letters popped up and there were chaste kisses and romance and...and what is even with this? Just when did his life turn into a romance novel?

Summary
Tony wakes up in the hospital and his first order of business is to flirt with his cute nurse. Steve isn't a nurse, but he's not quite Captain America right now either. Regardless, he is there when Tony wakes up.
(Tony has temporary amnesia while in the hospital, Steve is de-serumed presumably in the same event that injured Tony.)

Summary
“You okay?” He glanced over at Clint from the pilot seat. He’d been getting increasingly quieter as they flew over the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. Luckily they’d kept a quinjet in Wakanda so no one had to come get them. It meant that they got to avoid an awkward airport runway reintroduction to two guys that Clint had tried to kill, a former Army buddy from World War 2 and a science genius who turned into a rage monster.
“No. But I think that’s okay. This shouldn’t be easy.” Clint’s voice was quiet in a way that Steve was still getting used to, or maybe he was resisting getting used to because he was still waiting to hear the old Clint. Which wasn’t fair of him. Clint shouldn’t be trying to live up to an old version of himself because that was what Steve needed. Or maybe it’s quiet because Clint had resigned himself to his life just not being easy. Which Steve could understand. Even if Clint couldn’t remember his life before Hydra, it had to have left some fingerprint, like a muscle memory for his life just always being a goddamn battle that he never got to win.

“Specialist Clint Barton.” Peggy supplied while the two privates left the tent. “His unit was just lost. Barton was their sniper so he was at a safe enough distance to....not get hit with any blast. He made it through a lot of enemy territory to get to us.” She was hard to impress but here she was, impressed to spite herself. Steve could hear it in her voice and see it on her face. He didn’t think the kid understood what that meant.
“Kid -” he started.
“None of us are kids anymore, Cap. And I’m not your son either so please don’t call me that. I’m not anyone’s son.” He had a faraway look in his eyes when he said it but then he met Steve’s eyes and gave him an assessing glance from head to toe and followed it up with a smirk, “besides, you can’t be more’n a few years older than me - definitely not old enough for me to call you Daddy.” Then he fluttered his eyelashes in mock innocence.
