Summary
Grace and Rocky have journeyed to Erid, fallen in love and even pledged themselves as mates along the way. Although nervous about introducing themselves and their relationship to Erid, at least they'll get to do it as a team. That's the plan, until Rocky's moult begins as soon as they get close to Erid, and Grace is left alone to baby-talk his way to First Contact with a new planet.
Without Rocky awake to help explain things, Grace is misinterpreted as being a small child. If only he realised this. And if only he wasn't keeping the fact he and Rocky are much more than friends a secret on top of it...

Summary
"A person like me shouldn't be around children," Healy says, low. He means it — March can hear that much. Healy, who'd stood still this whole time, starts pacing the wall beside the bed. He limps, just slightly, from yesterday's fight. March remembers those thick fingers around someone's throat, the skin going red, Healy's knuckles going white with the grip.
His own throat is sore too. He remembers fingers there — pressure, tightening. Not Healy's. Healy wouldn't hold him like that.
