Summary
TC didn’t know why but that suggestion left a sour taste in her mouth. She didn’t know much about Louis, apart from what was written in the book and she didn’t even believe half that shit, but what she knew for certain was that that book, and by extension Louis had broken Lestat’s heart and that fact in and of itself was enough to make her distrust him, if not outright dislike him. She was sure it was all complicated and multifaceted and a whole bunch of different things, but she only knew what she saw.
or, 3 times the band didn't fully get Louis and Lestat's relationship and 1 time they did

Summary
Lestat started drinking from the man in long gulps, not caring about the mess or bothering to make it last. His purpose was fulfilled for the night, and the man’s miserable existence was coming to its short, painless end.
“What the fuck are you doing?”
“Dining.” He shrugged, turning back to draining the man.
Louis approached and yanked him away from his victim by the hair.
“What have I told you about bringing your kills into our home?” Louis tightened his grip, making Lestat gasp. “I could hear your dramatic fake moaning from upstairs.”
“And what are you going to do about it, Mon Cher?”

Summary
Louis froze. His heart twisted painfully.
“Lestat,” he whispered, his voice cracking.
The child looked up at him with those same impossible eyes… Lestat’s eyes, but raw, unshielded, filled with the fear of a boy who had known nothing but cruelty.

“What about Louis?” he asked instead, because it was the only test he had left, the only door still standing between what this was and what he was afraid it might be.
Lestat went quiet. The openness in his face didn’t necessarily close. Rather it simply stopped, like a screen going dark between one thought and the next. Lestat’s face was blank and when he spoke again, his voice had smoothed itself into something empty and pleasant, an imitation of warmth rather than warmth itself.
“What about Louis?” Lestat asked, sounding confused that Armand even brought him up. Like it didn’t even matter. “I only care about you, Armand.”
