Summary
2D's door is closed, but it's not locked, so Murdoc walks in. 2D is lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Well, he likes staring at nothing for hours with not a thought in his head, doesn't he? Perfectly content that way.
"Let's have a bit of fun," Murdoc says cheerfully, going over to the bed.
2D's head rolls towards him just slightly, enough to suggest the invisible pupils in those whiteless black eyes might now be directed his way. "Not really in the mood," he says tonelessly, and looks back at the ceiling again.

Murdoc makes a mistake. Then he tries to fix it, in his own inimitable way.

Summary
The little card on the top shelf says Fill up your tool box! and the screwdriver is sharing space with some really suspicious-looking “tools” like an unconvincingly bulbous-handled wrench, a flashlight, (which doesn’t actually turn on, to his disappointment), and a hammer. For some reason the hammer is what does him in. He picks it up, pokes the soft, weightless head and starts snickering helplessly.
“What?” Chuck says, coming down the aisle of the sex toy shop behind him, and Mike turns and waves the hammer at him.
“Why do they have a—oh my god,” Chuck says. “I mean, it’s better than trying to use a real hammer in bed, but why would you want to in the first place?”
Mike opens his mouth, realizes he absolutely can’t afford to say that out loud, and closes it again.
Chuck’s head tilts thoughtfully and Mike’s stomach flips over.

Mike wakes up and bounces out of bed. It’s a longer drop down and he ends up closer to the floor than usual, but he doesn’t really notice, because it’s morning! Time to be up and doing things! Time to get food.
A dirty sock on the floor beside the laundry basket catches his eye and he pounces, bites it, shakes his head vigorously and then flings it in the air to catch it in his mouth again. Then he pauses, making an uneasy noise. Something’s weird.
