Summary
A series born out of my frustrations on canon and how it sometimes glosses over life within the Empire. In order for cohesion, all these stories a.) are set at some point when the Empire has power, b.) have Wedge Antilles appear or referenced in some way, and c.) are meant explore to things that either are implied to have happened in the Empire or are likely to have happened. Thus, by its very nature this series deals with sometimes heavy topics and reader discretion is advised. Stories are sorted by their timeline within Star Wars and not when I've actually published them. Every story can be read as a standalone, unless specified otherwise by me in the opening author's notes.
(Update March 2026: Since I'm unsure when/if I'll come back to this series I'd thought I'd share with you guys my playlist for it to tide you over. I listened to this a lot while writing nearly every fic in this series, and it evokes a lot of Star Wars and Wedge emotions in me. Please enjoy!)

Summary
Gerry never meant to tie himself to the Magnus Institute, alright? But he never thought he'd outlive Gertrude Robinson, either, and look how that worked out. It wasn't like working for the grumpy new Archivist was the worst thing in the world - he could still prevent the rituals this way, and try to keep his fellow archival assistants away from danger, even the ones who seemed pretty convinced he was a murderer.
(In which the Head Archivist has four assistants, a rather recognisable book-burning goth tries to hide himself beneath the Eye, and Jon should really learn to read the news.)
