Summary
Two weeks after Tim’s birthday, he gets the call.
He’s got a carton of eggs in the crook of his arm, three packets of shredded cheese and a tomato in hand, when he nearly drops everything at the ringtone. Because yes, he knows that ringtone, infrequent as it is. He knows it, because he’s been waiting for sixteen days now—and yet, he’s entirely unprepared to hear the sound. It’s partially because of the timing: it’s 4 P.M. in Gotham or 11 P.M. in Egypt, far too late for a normal phone call. It’s partially his own stupidity: the phone is far away—all the way in the dining room—and he has to sprint to avoid sending his parents to voicemail. In his haste, the tomato rolls away, away, as he drops the food, fumbles around, and answers with a breathless, "Hi."
"Timothy," his mother greets. "Your father wanted to talk to you."
...
Or: Tim Drake is 13-going-on-15. He's an unemployed lay-about, an overachiever taking photos and scaling fire escapes. In an effort to rectify these inconsistencies, a plan—or a pitch deck—or perhaps just a prelude-to-adoption—is created.

Summary
Tim and Kon still haven’t confessed. They both know that their relationship has expanded beyond what a normal friendship entails, even for best friends. Both of them are attempting to work up the courage to confess to the other. What could go wrong?
Kon has plans for the future. A wedding, a cat, a dog, a few houseplants, several decades of marital bliss. Plus a very important gift specifically made just for Tim.
Tim is building a slide deck that will take approximately two hours and forty seven minutes to present if Kon saves all his questions for the end. It covers all possibilities, including the several dozen contingencies his brain cooked up for when Kon inevitably gets sick of him.
Unfortunately, Tim’s siblings might just ruin everything before he can confess. Kon is undoubtedly loyal, they won’t be able to scare him away. Probably.Series
