He wakes up to pearl-grey morning light coming through the old lace curtains of Dongsik's window. He's wearing an old stretched-out shirt and sweatpants, not his own. Beside him, arm tucked under the pillow, Dongsik sleeps.
Hot panic rushes over him. He dimly remembers getting into the shower, being guided by Dongsik's hands. Being handed these clothes, tugging the shirt over his head. Accepting a patter of explanations from Dongsik on why it would be better that he just stay the night. And he remembers everything before that.
He squeezes his eyes shut, as though he can disappear back into sleep. Dongsik makes a small sound, shifts slightly against the pillow, and Juwon's eyes fly open again. If he is here when Dongsik wakes up, he will have to say something, and that is impossible.

Summary
Chengxian or chengxian-adjacent stories that all take place in the same continuity. Broadly follows drama canon but with some novel-canon aspects tossed in there for spice. Can be read in any order - each story stands alone and there is no set beginning or endpoint to the series.
Title is from Lake Song by The Decemberists. That, and in a way this whole series, is ultimately mongrelmind's fault.
