“You didn’t come to say goodnight,” He murmured into Pantalone’s coat.
Pantalone exhaled softly, glancing out the large windows that lined the wall of his office. The sky was dark, the only semblance of color coming from the snow billowing outside. He looked down at his son and embraced him gently, resting his chin on the top of his mussed hair, clearly missing his nightly bath.
“You know I’m very busy darling,” He cooed.

“Oh, let it,” Draco said, as Regulus flipped the pages through Hogwarts: A History. “Are we going for lunch already?”
“Mhm,” Blaise said, casting one last dubious glance at Regulus before taking Draco’s arm. “It’s soooo unfair that Potter gets to play quidditch and not us. Draco, you have to tell your father.”
“He already has,” Regulus snorted, and Draco whipped his empty bed a glare.Regulus Black realizes that the only way to ensure the destruction of all Voldemort's Horcruxes, is to ensure he survives to see it to the end. It's unfortunate that he meets another.
“Of course he would curse some stupid random diary to be indestructible,” Regulus complained, flipping it every which way, finding nothing but blank pages. Even ink refused to stick. Regulus wrote, I am Tom Riddle and I suck. It disappeared. Heh.
In its place appeared the word, Rude.
Regulus flung the book across the room.Rewrite of Isoceles, the first fic in the series.

"Er… I just mean. I noticed you following me. Do you need something from me?"
The boy just continued to stare at him like a baby severelk caught without its mother. He still didn't move. Pantalone wasn't good with children, let alone lab science experiment children. He was completely out of his element here. Dottore (easier-to-read Dottore) was expecting him soon and honestly he should just leave the boy alone and carry on with his business. But Pantalone really wanted to know why the boy kept staring at him. He had to need something from him. All the segments did.

Pantalone has dealt with all of Dottore's segments at least once or twice. All of them except for the youngest one. For some reason that one never talked to him. It was almost like that segment was being deliberately kept from him. It is often said that children don't have a filter, Dottore's segment not being an exception. But that shouldn't be a problem, should it? Not unless Dottore wanted to hide something from Pantalone.

Everything was going to go exactly according to his plan. He'd take the potion, get inseminated, and then... well, he'd figure it out. Unfortunately, he had the great misfortune of having that glasses-wearing prat, James Potter, as his new neighbor. If that wasn't enough, his estranged brother suddenly started showing up.
However, Regulus wasn't going to let anything get in his way. He was going to build a family no matter what.

It's unfortunate that Malfoy Manor is already home to another horcrux, and Regulus is not letting sixteen year old Tom Riddle sink his claws into his little cousin.
“Stop distracting him,” Regulus says, knocking into Riddle’s shoulder. Draco pretends to turn back to his book, although he’s still glancing in his periphery over to the two of them.
“I want to see what the modern day textbook is like,” Riddle says, planting himself stubbornly over Draco’s head.
“When you finish this chapter, dear, we’ll go get some tea, how about that?” Narcissa says, oblivious to the invisible squabbling pair right behind her.“So, Sirius Black is a loyal servant of mine?” Tom sounds pleased. “Leading me straight to the Potters? Perhaps I’ll seek him out.”
“You’ll do no such thing!” Regulus snarls at him. “He would never have betrayed them - it’s your fault!"

Summary
Following his expulsion from the Akademiya, Zandik was thrown in the desert with nothing but the clothes on his back. The desert was merciless, stretching endlessly as its unbearable heat could only be matched by the dangers concealed beneath its golden sands. Survival became a battle where he couldn't even guarantee absolute victory.
That was until he came across an abandoned puppet buried deep near some ruins. The puppet was deceptively strong and fair-faced, which made him a useful companion in enduring the desert's cruelty. The puppet too lacked a heart which added fuel to the fire that was Zandik's burning interest in him.
Zandik promised the puppet a heart. In exchange, he asked for a price that the puppet had yet to realize was far too heavy to pay.
Or, Zandik encountered an unassuming puppet in the desert.
