David Bowie's ethereal, beautiful voice was suddenly drifting through the car. Fragments of text and melody almost forgotten, never forgotten. Remus didn't have to ask. Didn't have to exchange glances with Sirius. He shouldn't anyway. Remus felt it cut through skin and flesh and carve itself into his tired bones. The memory. The moment encapsulated in history this song transported them both back to. Sirius and him, forever tied together by a pipe bomb of a perfect past. A brief moment of happiness that had blown up in their faces.------------------------------------------
