Summary
He’s not much of a talker, Grace has quickly discerned, the words he does share are spoken gruffly but quietly, even the gratuitous swearing. More habit than actually irate. Still, Grace is just wondering how to fill the silence without just rambling when Simon cautiously ventures, “Say I’m not dead. Say it is real… why rescue me? Why fix me up?”
He tilts his head, nonplussed, “Because you were stranded and you were hurt.”
“That’s not what I’m asking,” spoken through gritted teeth. “At least, at least be honest with me. For what reason? What do you want in return?”
In his lap, Grace’s fingers flex.
“I don’t want anything in return,” he says steadily.
(A bloodymary fix-it fic with extra emphasis on touch starvation, and boy is Grace ravenous.)

Kuroo pulls him close, and whispers in his ears, “Do you want to go home?”
He feels Kenma’s hands around his neck. When his lips are brushing against the shell of his ears, Kuroo’s entire body shivers.
“Yes. I want—I mean, can we—?” He leans back, looking into Kuroo’s eyes. He can smell the alcohol on his breath, feel the hot air exiting his lips. He glances down at Kuroo’s lips and up again.
Kuroo’s breath catches. He’s not serious? Is he?
“I thought you hate love.” That’s all he can say as he stares at Kenma’s face, dotted with club lights as the music goes on and on around them.
“This isn’t love.” He says it like it’s obvious. “It’s sex.”
The air is knocked out of him, and Kuroo’s chest tightens. Right. Just sex. But if this is the only way he can have him, just once, it’d be okay? Right?

So. Now Hinata is under Kageyama’s arm, only a few centimeters away from the other boy’s face, and he has that intense itch in his skin again that screams at him like he’s about to step onto court. Anticipation and excitement and fear all at once, and although Hinata knows he’s not the strongest spike on the team he’s never been an idiot, and he knows what this means, for his heart to be almost exploding being so close to Kageyama’s eyes and lips and hair and weird stupid handsome face.
