Summary
Five Pebbles dies far earlier and more definitively than usual. In a bizarre twist of cruelty, whatever remains of him is tied to his unknowing past self some time after Sliver of Straw's own end, and granted only tenuous influence as the same events seem destined to unfold.
His only saving grace may be that he is preceded here by another. Unfortunately, much has happened since the last time he could rely on their friendship, and Seven Red Suns has aims of their own for this new course of fate.
(Meanwhile, the Five Pebbles and Seven Red Suns of this cycle grow closer than ever. But this isn’t really about them… right?)
