Summary
Diverging from Kirk and Spock's first meeting in SNW 2x06 'Lost in Translation', Spock and Jim begin an affair that is the definition of wrong-place, wrong-time. Featuring sweeping romance, sex farce, screwball comedy, hot hot sex, a lot of singing, Vulcan pop groups, gardening in space, the inevitability and impact of gossip and a hell of a lot of allegories...plus a supporting cast of dozens of absolutely ridiculous OCs.
Episodic series split broadly into phases.
Phase 1 - (1-6) covers the back-half of SNW S2 and can be read in any order. Kirk meets Spock, sparks fly, songs are sung, and yeomen are involved.
Phase 2 - (7-10) onward covers Hegemony and the aftermath and should be read in order. A daring rescue, some ill-advised surgery, a trip to Risa, a new enemy.
Phase 3 - (11-14) revenge is a dish best served at a formal gala, and the aftermath.

Summary
The next morning, Jim was wonderfully sore as he snuck from the bed and got into the shower. It was still a new sensation for him; even with Gary, or the anonymous nights he'd had with males of unknown species, he had usually been the one calling the shots. But with Spock’s Pon Farr the catalyst for this new part of their relationship, they had fallen into the pattern of Spock being the one who did the hard work. Spock seemed to like it that way, and Jim didn't care so long as he got to hold Spock after. But in the shower that morning, the thought did strike him that perhaps there was something new they could try.

Summary
The Weight Collected was a 520-page perfect bound Star Trek: TOS anthology zine released in 1988, comprised of stories published in the Warped Space zine between 1975 and 1980.
The import of these fanzine works to the AO3 was approved by the OTW Open Doors Committee in 2022 as a part of the Fan Culture Preservation Project.
"The Sixth Year," by by Ed Zdrojewski, originally appeared in Warped Space #3 in February, 1975.
"The Weight," text and art by Leslie Fish, originally appeared in 12 issues of Warped Space from #17 to #42, from 1976 through 1979
"A Brief Encounter in a Timeless War" by James van Hise (art by Michael Verina) appeared in Enterprise Incidents #7 in October, 1979.
"Invaders Great and Small" by Leslie Fish, James van Hise, and Joanne Agosino (art by Martin Cannon) appeared in Enterprise Incidents #8 in 1980.- Words:
