I mean, it’s a lot, right? I’ve just remembered that I’m on a spaceship, my planet is dying, and I’m about to die in an attempt to save it. I’ve just remembered who I am, for goodness’ sake. And now I’m wrestling with new questions, like whether I’m really the kind of guy who sleeps with his boss, knocks her up, and promptly peaces out to Tau Ceti. You know, as one does.
Just when Grace is starting to piece together what he's doing on the Hail Mary, he finds a note from Stratt that upends everything again.
Or: Leading up to the launch, Grace and Stratt make slightly different choices, and carry slightly different consequences to the ends of the earth and beyond the stars.
