Summary
Shane Hollander is the most sought-after goalie on the market in the 2015 offseason. The Bears are thrilled when they get the steal of the decade by signing him out from under Montreal. It’s even cooler that their captain is so close with Hollander. The two are like, best friends or platonic soulmates or something.
Alternatively: 5 times the Boston Bears should’ve guessed that Hollander and Rozanov were totally gay for each other + 1 time when everyone knew (Except Carmy).

Summary
Maybe if the video ended there, Shane thought, it would be okay. Okayish. Still incriminating. Still a fucking disaster. Still embarrassing, to have his breakup with this beautiful actress filmed and disseminated on Reddit of all fucking places, but not a nail in his coffin, burying him alive. But the video didn’t end there.
“Can I ask if you’ve ever been with another guy?” she had to ask.
And he, tears visible in his eyes, had to nod.
Just once. Just a single nod.
Why did he have to nod?
“Have you ever told anyone that before?” He shook his head. “Was it different? With a guy?”
“Of course.”
Of course.
“Was it better?”
“Yes.”
+++
Shane’s conversation with Rose is secretly recorded. Months later, after the All-Star game and Ilya’s confession in Russian, the video gets leaked online. Shane is outed to the world while Ilya is in Russia, and must now finish the 2016-2017 season with the entire world in on his secret.

Summary
“Mm, not stuff his pockets with the drug everyone thinks makes you gay right before a press conference? Maybe!” Ilya’s voice chimed happily from the phone.
“You wanna tell us why you’re so acquainted with Rush that you can identify it in 780p, Ilya?” Kip asked.
“…I have so much leather to deodorize, Kip Grady. So many sports cars, you know.”
--
Kip can't believe no one else can tell how outrageously gay Ilya Rozanov is, but he's not complaining, he's happy to have someone else to talk to at all the hockey functions.
Or: Perfect gaydar haver Ilya Rozanov finally gets a taste of his own medicine. A series of looks into Kip and Ilya's friendship, starting after the cottage.

"Ten pull-ups bought the egg sandwich. Fifty bucks bought the heat. If you want to see what comes off next, honey, the tip jar is right there in the comment box. Don’t be stingy."
"Rule number one: no funny business. Rule number two: keep the clothes on. Too bad my favorite patron has deep pockets and very specific tastes. Subscribe for the punchlines, stay for the cooldown—just don't tell anyone how much you paid to get in. Especially Ekko. See ya in the comment section. Because this is totally a fitness channel."
