Summary
When you go to a beach party, you expect games and fun. Not discovering that there is a secret society of mers lurking below the surface of the water. And especially not discovering that the customer who does nothing but complain is actually a mer himself. It doesn't take much to get the tight lipped mer to open up once Chase was on the case (actually all it took was some chocolate but that was beside the point). Now, the pair are out to discover a way to return Buddy back to being fully human. But a boat trip gone wrong ends up revealing a lot more than the truth about what happened to Buddy the night he was transformed.

Summary
Chase and Simon try something new and join a singing camp, its apart of a church that preforms the carols at the sugar springs Christmas festival (For a town their size its more of a busy gathering). At this 2 week camp he meets a moody Buddy who's preparing for priest hood. Over the 2 weeks Chases appearance in Nox's life disrupts the balance in his mind that he thought he had control over, forcing him to face parts about himself he once refused to acknowledge. Nox learns to accept elements about himself, overcome his inner struggles and allow himself to love something, something that will love him back.
All while Chase tries getting Nox out of a situation and away from a certain person.

Chase and Nox meet at singing camp and small crushes end up changing Nox's life for the better, while also challenging his way of living and his perceived morals, and Chase learns alot about his grief and that life isint black and white for those who live in grey.
