The next sign that something was wrong was not an excess of noise, but rather the absence of it. Aegon looked around, his eyes slowly adjusting to the gloom until he found the cause of his concern. In front of the window, there she was.
A white linen chemise was all Helaena wore. Her hair hung loose, those long silver locks so ethereal they seemed to glow in the darkness. Though he was not a devout man to the Faith, Aegon truly believed that his sister's beauty must have been a blessing from the Maiden. Yet, in that moment she looked less like a queen and more like a ghost, her eyes fixed upon a specific, random spot in the view.
OR: Aegon soothes Helaena back to bed after waking up without her by his side.
