    An alternate universe in which the problem was never the Red Death, it was the Vikings, and war was so tedious a God himself decided to intervene, using his divinity to choose protectors to keep the peace.
    However, the problem, was still: Vikings. It always had been, even after peace was found. So the protectors had to remain hidden from them, even after their duty had been fulfilled. They could roam free amongst the dragons, but never the Vikings.

    Now what happens when the children of those protectors — their descendants — stumble upon the very place that the peacebringers wanted tto avoid at all costs? Do things go south, or does humanity prove itself to be worthy to live — and fight — alongside.
