Neither of them is particularly keen to wed, and after a rough start to their acquaintance full of snark and sparks, they come to a mutually enjoyable arrangement for enduring the Season. Neither is willing to admit he's falling for his fellow-alpha lover as the Season wears on. Even more unfortunately, one of them is lying about being an alpha.

    Aziraphale and Crowley go on a psychedelic trip to North America as they investigate the hippie movement and uncover hidden truths about their past while coming to terms with the radical present day, and their own supposed “friendship”.
    A fanfiction heavily based on the book but narrated with nods to the deleted scenes and later plotlines of the TV series*. As a fan of the book, I’ve tried to capture more of the duo’s insufferable-doublecrossing-enemy-diplomats dynamic as well as emulate a similar writing style to the novel.

    Whether you're a fan of the book or not, either way I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it

    Also if you aren’t familiar with my self-indulgent John Waters reference, my apologies, please disregard it.

    *I’d also like to emphasize that THERE ARE NO SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES FINALE!!!
    but…
    If you have watched the finale, as I have, I think you will still find comfort in this story. I’ll miss these characters dearly but Good Omens fan content is so fabulous and there will always be something to write about when it comes to these ineffable freaks <3

    Perhaps Crowley should be hit by a few more vehicles because it'll hurt less than seeing an Aziraphale that doesn't remember him. And why, oh why, must Crowley fall for this new/old person? Why can't his heart just let him be?! Why must this new person be so good, so familiar, so new, so him and so someone else?

    How can he explain the past without ruining this person's future? How can he leave when gravity pulls him back into the angel's orbit?
