Summary
He still goes to the meeting. Greets Copley with a self-deprecating smile, and tells him that if anyone lays a single finger on the Old Guard he will burn down everything Copley has ever stood for. He then orders a coffee for the both of them and gets to planning. Copley is as easy to turn as he suspects, his grief dulling his sense of morality, but not enough for the man to completely forgo his convictions. He tells him of the path of blood that will await him if they go down this path. That Merrick is willing to go to greater lengths than either of them want to imagine but it ends now. Willful naivety could not, would not excuse their actions up to this point but even the damned can try and reach towards heaven.

Booker finds himself transported back in time to the hotel room where it all began, and is determined to make up for his mistakes. With Copley by his side, he is cleaning up all the loose ends his action brought about, and is preparing to get rid of the biggest threat, himself, at the end. But will the Old Guard let this happen?

Summary
What if the 7B version of the brothers existed in the Magnus Archives Universe?
Don't really need too much knowledge of the Magnus Archives, just that there are roughly 14 fears, who feed on the fear of living creatures.
Ezra serves the Lonely, aka the fear of being isolated, cut off, forsaken, etc.
A Lukas family are a very wealthy family who serve the lonely, and you can probably see where this fits with Ezra and Maude.

Stratt’s words echo in Ryland’s head. He is huddled on top of a building surrounded by satellite dishes, curling up as small as he can make himself, legs pulled up to his chest, arms slung around them, head buried in his knees. He must look pretty pathetic but no one will see him up here and even if they did, he’s kind of over it. They just asked him to die, he deserves a bit of a mental breakdown, thank you very much.
