Bookmarker's Notes
One of my faves! Sobbed all over my pillow and now I need a new one. Life changing, spectacular, will never be the same, David understanding Ilya 😭🤧 and only a tiny bit bitter at Shane but mostly I want to hug him and I need to wrap Ilya's mental health in bubble wrap because that's my big Russian baby.

"Firefighter Wilson, do you copy?"
He remembers that.
The panic. The suffocating feeling at his throat. The pounding of his heart. The stumbling figure in the distance. The unmistakable spelling of her name.
"I got eyes on Wilson!" He shouted into the radio. "Sixth floor, Alpha side."

Summary
"So shake it off, make some more bread."
And it works. And maybe it would work for Theo too — something to focus on, a task, instructions. Small hands kneading dough and making cookies and using the oven for something other than setting magazines on fire.
It works for Buck. If they are so alike, maybe it will work for Theo too.
[ or the one where baking brings tommy and buck back together ]
