Timothy Drake-Wayne is trans. It’s an accepted part of who he is, and it has been for the last 6 years, and it is a fact that has been public knowledge for the last 5 ½.
When he came out, he came out to Bruce, Dick, Alfred, and Barbara.
Tim Drake being a guy had become such an accepted fact that tabloids and people forgot that he was in fact, not born a guy.But, hay, at least his siblings know that he’s trans.
Right?
Well it doesn't take long for the news to come out when he is the only one who can go undercover, and confront a growing threat.

He stops, closing his eyes, inhaling, then exhaling, opening his eyes again to look at Tim.
“Or… because you are more comfortable being a boy?”
Bruce was hard to read; he always had been.
But over the last 5 months, he had come to learn the subtle differences between his grunts, his silences, his looks, and expressions.
Bruce looked at him in a way that was a mix of when he made conclusions without much evidence and knew it, and when he was disappointed.
It took an exceptionally long time for Tim to figure out the difference between when Bruce was disappointed in Tim, or himself.
He was disappointed in himself.
And Tims silence spoke volume.“What’s your name?”

When Bruce finally brings up the topic of what Tims Robin suit will look like, Tim is excited beyond describable words. Bruce struggles to remind the young girl he had been training that Robin can be a girl, and that Robin can be a female hero as well.

SEVERUS has adopted Harry and Draco and is now the reluctant new Headmaster of Hogwarts. Severus's quiet apartment has become rather chaotic, these days. (His children have quite the collection of mischievous portraits and loud pets.)
DRACO has disenrolled from Hogwarts and is now commuting to the New York Institute for Magical Arts (NYIMA). Starting over isn't easy. Especially when Draco insists on also taking classes at Beauxbatons and Durmstrang . . .
HARRY is still attending Hogwarts and wishes his new dad would *be less embarrassing* and also *let Harry move back to Gryffindor tower.* (Because, honestly. Who makes their child live at home during the school year? It just isn't fair.)

He slumped back in the chair, staring up at the ceiling and heaving a sigh of relief.
"So 'm not a nutter." he slurred slightly, rubbing his eyes under his glasses.
Snape sounded slightly amused, but hid it under a cover of annoyance.
"No, you fool. You simply needed to go to the hospital wing the moment you realised anything was wrong." the man reprimanded, and stood. "Which is where you will be going now."

Or: Harry takes dreamless sleep, without knowing he has a very rare magical allergy to it, which was thought to have died off in the Peverell bloodline. Oddities ensue.

And this boy — this boy who Severus has so wronged, this boy who should hate him, who should banish him to the gallows and be done with it — looks up at him and, against all odds, looks like he’s seeing Severus for the first time, like their extensive history has faded into the nothingness of this place and is now no longer. Like they are both reborn in this place and in the past is the past.
Harry dies. It is Severus who awaits him in King's Cross Station.

Summary
There’s a specific frequency only animals can hear. So high pitched and sharp it’d make them writhe in pain. Dogs especially are sensitive to the noise. Whining aloud and desperately trying to cover their ears to make it stop. Crudelly mimicked by dog whistles to keep them in check.
But there’s an interesting thing most don’t know. Even if you can’t hear it, people are also affected by it. Maybe at best a phantom headache if it’s not too strong. Or at worse, death from internal organs rupturing from the vibrations.
And there’s a special tune in between. When done just right. Activates the neurons just so. Enough to make your brain act on impulse. Heightened by the pain it can’t understand and whiting out reason. Delegating function to subconscious actions rather than conscious ones. Making it more susceptible. More pliable.
Lettuce finds that frequency. And makes his very own dog whistle. Meant for just one person.
