The Sunlight Sisters wrote their names in the annals of history as the first-generation K-Pop group. But at the height of their career, they fell apart. Whispers in South Korea’s entertainment circle believed that the Sunlight Sisters disbanded due to the sudden and tragic death of Ryu Mi-yeong in late 2002, but it was the disappearance of the third Sunlight Sister, Moon Dan-bi, aka “Dani,” in late 1997 that triggered the sunset of the Sunlight Sisters.
