“And we’re friends?” She hates that he asks it like a question.
“Yes we are.”
“Ok, MJ.”And then he smiles that big dorky Peter Parker smile usually reserved for Ned and her heart feels like it’s going to explode. Something stirs in her soul and tries to tell her she wants to see that smile more. Well, that’s okay. Heaven knows that Peter Parker deserves to smile more, after all that he’s done for New York, the world.
-After getting injured as Spider-Man, Peter loses his memories. All of them. With Ned out of the country for work and impossible to contact, it's up to MJ to watch him until he gets better. At first, she hides the fact that Peter is Spider-Man from him because she knows he's too injured to be recklessly web-slinging around the city. But as Peter heals and MJ sees more and more of the man he is without the burden of Spider-Man hanging over him, she isn't sure she has the strength to tell him. Why can't she let him stay happy, at least for a little while longer?

Draco Malfoy has been a probationary Auror for two years, even after completing the required three-year program, despite numerous attempts now to have said probationary status lifted. While his skills are an incredible asset to the DMLE, his existence is still seen as a threat by the Ministry and must be put in a leash; hence, the probation. He's going to prove once and for all that he's one of the best, if not the best, Auror the ministry can get.
Except he can’t meet one requirement: conjuring a patronus. Lacking any useful happy memories, he decides to take a philanthropic approach. After all, helping others should evoke happy memories, right?
And, much to her anxiety, when Hermione sees a familiar tall blonde prat walking into her charity event, stating he is there to volunteer, she should have said no.
OR
Hermione helps Draco with conjuring a patronus through memories created from acts of charity, and moments meant for philanthropic attempts turn to denial of feelings and attraction.

“Y-You’re married?”
His voice was no more than a pained whisper as his face crumbled. The Healer gave him a soft smile, her amber eyes twinkling with a concealed emotion.
“Yes, and it looks like you are as well.”
Her dark curls lightly bounced around her face as she nodded toward Draco’s left hand. He’s hit with a bout of dizziness when he turned to the side. It took some difficulty, but he raised his arm, and the glint of silver on his ring finger caught his eye.
“No. No, no, no.”
