Something itches beneath Tommy's shoulder blades. It aches, with longing and pain and something he can't place. It pounds in his head and with his pulse.
He thought it was just hunger or pain from ill-healed wounds, but this has gone on for days, only growing, slowly, steadily in strength. It's taken over most any other thoughts- he's in too much pain to complain much about the crippling loneliness or the cold or hunger that ate away ate him. He wants to rip it out, pull the roots from his nervous system like a weed. He wants to burn it, to freeze it, something to stop how it grows and gnaws away at his sanity.
He can feel the careful thread that is TommyInnit fraying, burnt and beaten and tattered. He wants to escape, so, so badly. There's nothing but blood and gunpowder here. But he has nowhere to go now.(or i wanted to throw tommy in a blender and ended up with this)
