Flins is standing on the balcony, dangerously close to the edges when he arrives at the lighthouse. The desk inside is covered in dozens of letters, all of which are farewells.
For years, Illuga has kept words inside his chest. But first, he wants to make Flins understand something just as important.
If Flins disappears, he is taking Illuga with him.

Summary
The lonely Azure Flame suffers his heat as Snezhnaya endures the transfer of power between the Belyi Tsar and the Tsaritsa. Kyryll is driven away after being wholly defeated by Noy's crimson flames. Gradually, the flames of snezhnaya are replaced by red ones, and the regions that once enshrined Kyryll's blue flames cease to exist.

"Varka was a man, and a very good one at that, but he looked different in the shade. With his coat thrown to the side and the drag of his duties gone with it, he was quick and piercing, made to hunt.
Those terrible muscles of him gleaming with sweat, free from the armor and thick fabric that kept everyone who gazed upon them sane. He seemed to know the forest like the back of his hand, moving through it like he was part of the local wildlife, vaulting over fallen trees and dodging stray branches before any reasonable person would catch that they're there. His hair was somehow more roughed up than usual. He looked free.
It was a treat that Lohen got to see him like that, that he'd found this eccentric man who was far too eager to hunt him down and wrestle him into the grass like prey, laughing with his full chest as Lohen playfully kicked at his ribs and squirmed.
Tonight, Lohen was the hunter, stalking through the woods with short, controlled breaths."

Summary
Here Lohen was, crawling back to a safe area, avoiding foes and allies alike.
In the end, he ended up hiding among the ruins near the large lake north of Piramida, close—but not quite so—to Favonius Keep. Something was very wrong with his body, which had made him initially hesitate in getting back to the camp. Now, it was too late. A gradual, sickening warmth was spreading through his body, slowing his limbs and dulling his reflexes.
Lohen was an expert in poisons, he’d tested many concoctions on multiple subjects, himself first of all. He could recognize the symptoms of a poisoning, but nothing natural should’ve been able to reduce him to his knees so easily, not after all his years of ‘training’.
