"Holly, what happened?" It's Mike. Concern leaks through his voice and it makes Holly's eyes sting ever so slightly. He's been in her position and Nancy has been in his, like a vicious cycle. "Holls? Please tell me, Will said you were upset."
Her door clicks shut quietly and she listens to Mike's footsteps as he makes his way over to her bed. The bed dips when he sits down and Holly feels it like a weight on her shoulder.
