Summary
Something was off, and M-21 knew it. For a while now, strange things had been happening to him. He found himself restless and on edge for no reason at all, unable to properly concentrate on anything, his thoughts flitting from one topic to the next without staying. A sort of agitation filled his body more often than not. There was just— the feeling that he wasn’t quite himself, a little uncomfortable in his own skin.
When his trembling hands caused him to drop his spoon for the third time during breakfast, M-21 decided he’d had enough and reluctantly made his way down to the laboratory. If there was really something wrong with him, Frankenstein would be able to figure it out without any problem. He’d probably have a cure in a few days too, even if it was some rare exotic disease that came from the ice age or whatever. That was Frankenstein for you.
