Summary
After Gale's divorce is finalised he packs his things and moves from Waterdeep to work at the museum of natural history in Baldur's gate. It has been months of him just coming and going from his apartment and his roommate has had enough of his depressed nature. Jenevelle (aka Shadowheart), invites Gale out to a music festival to watch her girlfriend's band play. Reluctant to turn down her request Gale goes and is instantly captivated by the vampiric lead singer of The Ascended.

Summary
After messing up a previous mission, Gale is pulled out of the field and relegated to paperwork. That is until he has been granted an opportunity to redeem himself. He just has to interview a vampire spawn and learn as much as he can about vampiric society. Simple. Easy... Though he did expect the spawn to be more reserved and less flirtatious, given his current situation.
Astarion didn't think his undead life could get any worse. Threats of punishment from his master had led him to make a desperate and foolish mistake when he picked his mark. Now he is stuck in some tiny cell in Waterdeep getting interviewed by some wizard about vampires. Well, at least he is asking nicely and not trying to torture the information out of him. That's a nice change of pace.

They’d trained in many simulators all the time, but Lance had never brought up that one. Keith remembered it like it was yesterday, not three years ago: a late-night dorm party, followed by an unauthorized game of capture the flag in the Garrison’s zero-G simulator. He remembered because of Lance.

Summary
A hand reaches out and Lance’s eyes widen as he follows the movement with shuddering fear, his fingers digging into his palms. The hand brushes a stray lock of hair from his face, the touch almost caressing if not for the fingertips stained in red.
Maybe if Lance just stays still, the creature will lose interest in him. Or he’ll wake from this nightmare. Maybe if he squeezes his eyes shut, they will open to empty air and aspiring hope. Lance’s eyes flutter open, the featherlight touch still palpable as he stares ahead in continued dread.
Then the creature’s lips part, an observational lift of his brow, “You’re shaking,” the thick fingers brush against Lance’s cheek before resting under his chin, “how captivating.”
Lance stands on the precipice of a dangerous world he can barely comprehend, drawn into predatory orbits that seek to remake him. Every touch, every claim, every drop of blood threatens to unravel his fragile sense of self. Until only the night possesses him.

Summary
As they broke into the ship, sliding quietly along a shockingly understaffed storage deck, no one thought to grab Lance. To touch base, maybe mention that the priority was the prisoners of higher standing with bigger pockets, which required a level of secrecy and nonchalance. And this requirement would need him to contain his emotions throughout the mission, even if his teammates were to fall or get injured. Even if he found Keith and wasn’t pleased with his treatment. He would need to remain calm. The monarchs were the priority.
This lack of forethought led to what is considered one of the worst intergalactic shipwrecks of all time. After all, Keith Kogane was always Lance’s first priority.

After Keith is abducted, Lance fights to get on a Blades mission to break into a Galran ship imprisoning hundreds. He keeps his own mission to himself. Step 1: follow orders until he can’t. Step 2: find Keith in the prison and break him out. Step 3: kill anything that slows him down.
