Tightening his grip on Buck's face enough to make him hiss in pain, the man's nails dig crescent moons into his pale skin. "Pretty things are always so much more beautiful when they're broken," he drawls after a moment of just staring into his eyes.
He pulls away, taking a step back so he isn't nearly in his lap anymore. Buck hates how quickly he breathes out in relief at the space between them.
"And you, Evan Buckley," the man says, his grin returning, "I think you're the prettiest one yet."
(Or, post-lawsuit, before the team has the chance to forgive Buck, he goes missing.)

Already over this question being repeated, Jeff stops walking and groans. Turning on his heels, he faces Natalie with an irritated look in his eyes. “If I answer this, will you stop fucking talking to me?”
Pondering for a moment, the brown haired girl nods in agreement. “Fine, sure.” For a couple seconds, Jeff stays quiet with his gaze averting as he taps his foot on the floor. Finding this a little strange, as she isn’t sure she’s ever seen Jeffrey behave like this, Natalie’s attention turns back to the younger murderer as he speaks up again.
“I’m here for a hatchet.”
