Summary
"Sorry for trying to kill you, but it wouldn't have worked, anyway. There's no ammo in this thing, and I'm running low on this one.”
Bryan nearly gives Leon a heart attack when he lifts his shirt and shows a haphazardly stuffed handgun that's sticking out of the waistband of his jeans.
“Don't put that there,” Leon says hurriedly, willing his heart to calm down. He keeps imagining the horror of it going off and blowing clean through Bryan's femur. “And - hey, wait. That's a standard glock that's issued to all American officers. Did you steal that?”
Bryan at least has the decency to blush in embarrassment as he hastily shoves the hem of his shirt back down.

Summary
“You’re the one joking around when we have a mission to accomplish,” he says, suddenly scathing. “Sorry if I can’t help but take the lives of innocent people more seriously than you.”
Lance feels his eyebrows skyrocket up his forehead. His jaw moves in the opposite direction. “Jeez,” he says. A laugh works itself out of his throat. “The Blade of Marmora sucked out, like, the two good parts of your personality that existed. You realize that, right?”
Or: On what should be a normal side-quest for Voltron, Lance gets bitten by a space-wolf. He thought that would be the worst of it.
OR: I'm writing a daily-update Halloween fic! Help me come up with chapter-title-prompts and guide where this story goes!

This fic is inspired by the incredible artist @Jamqyu on Twitter
AU - Villain Robert / Hero Flambae
*
Mecha Man Astral had never been a hero worth following to Robert Robertson III. So after the death of his father, Robert chose a different path for himself, one that he could use to rewrite the family legacy.
And Mecha Man Zero was the perfect name for its detonation.
This job from Shroud was supposed to be the last big one before Robert wouldn’t need anybody else ever again. But when an annoyingly handsome, cocky, and persistent super interferes, Robert finds himself starting to get attached to a hero for the first time.
Maybe a little bit of good isn’t so bad for him.

Summary
The darkness in the kennel is thick, suffocating. It reeks of rat piss and molding hay. Every instinct screams danger, though Halsin cannot yet make out what hunts him. His darkvision does not pierce the deepest corners, but he knows—oh, he knows—
There’s something hungry here.
After saving the world, Tav turns their attention to dismantling Cazador Szarr. But what they discover in the bowels of the Szarr palace is far more than a single corrupt noble.
