There's an unknown titan protecting the woods near Shinganshina, never before seen until literally dropping out the sky like a bomb and saving an expedition squad before disappearing again - showing an unprecedented intelligence and understanding of tactics and skill. It has the scouts up in arms in either excitement or worry over the implications of such knowledge, is this an actual chance at fighting back or is it a new, highly dangerous threat?

"Haven't you heard of the legend of the Titan God in the supply route forest?" Levi shoves Hange off their back when the other decides to hang over him like he's a coat rack, ignoring their insane titan drabble as usual."No one has ever called him that before Hange and you know that, it's all outlined in the survey notes." Levi breaks into a stiff salute the second he hears Erwin's voice, missing Hange's face with his elbow by a hair as they stand to do the same.
"But doesn't he seem just as mythological as a God! All the early expedition notes detail him so well before he practically disappears! No one's seen him in decades and the only reason the reports are given any credence is because the other titans avoid that place like the plague!"

Summary
“Eren, why are you crying?” The girl--Mikasa--now has worry present in her voice. It’s better than the casualness it once held, but still feels off. It’s too soft and gentle.
He wipes his eyes. He’s not sure why he’s crying. He doesn’t feel sad or happy or scared or anything else. He’s at the point where there is so much to feel but it’s too overwhelming so instead he feels nothing but aching numbness.
He stands and his body feels like it’s something disconnected from him. It’s almost like he’s in Titan form, where he’s in control and present but the body still feels distinctly other.
“Let’s go.” He states, and lets his feet lead him to a home that’s nearly a decade dead.
[Time travel fic, but with less of a focus on 'fixing everything' and more of a focus on how Season 4 Eren would deal with going back in time after he's already accepted his death and how that would impact this new timeline. Despite this, many things still get fixed.]
