Very very very loosely based on personal experience of sobriety revealing underlying neurodivergence, this is a soft indulgent thing, using the gorgeous relationships between the boys to gently tease out some stuff. This is very much a wip, and as my personal life is a ginormous clustafuck (except! I am sober! yes!), I have no set update schedule...

Summary
Jimin is a Swan, trapped in an archaic system which will sell him off to the highest bidder. Recently arrived as the town blacksmith, Yoongi has been busy falling in love with all manner of boys, and plotting how to extract them all to a free life, together.

Summary
Jimin is a contractor who fixes up old houses, going where the work takes him. When he gets a job repairing an estate out past the last stop of a long-abandoned rail line, he's ready for the disrepair: broken windows, rotting wood, stagnant water, a hell of a drive from town. What he doesn't expect is Jeongguk, the quiet, handsome owner who hired him. He doesn't expect the magnificent stag that wanders the woods, watching him work. And he certainly doesn't expect the tales of shapeshifters, as long-gone as the rail line—except, maybe, for one last lonely buck.

”Easy, Jungkook-ssi,” Jimin calls.“The key is control, not momentum.”
“You keep saying that,” Jungkook grunts, adjusting his feet on the bar clumsily. “Control this, squeeze that. I thought this was supposed to help me recover.”
“You will,” Jimin replies. “Your ego, though – not sure.”
Someone in the class snickers, but Jungkook gives them no mind. He lifts his head, giving Jimin a lop-sided grin. “I’m starting to think degradation is just your way of flirting, Jimin-ssi.”
Jimin observes him with a mirthful sparkle in his eyes. “Jungkook-ssi, believe me – you’d know if I was flirting with you,” he pauses, holding eye contact. Then, “Ten more,” he singsongs, eliciting a string of groans and disgruntled whines.
The reaction only makes Jimin smile more.

“Hyung...”
Jimin’s eyes opened, though he kept his face turned toward the nightstand. “Hm?”
Jeongguk hesitated long enough that Jimin felt the next breath against the sensitive skin below his ear. His voice was quieter when he continued, low and almost embarrassed in the darkness.
“My energy... it’s still here.”
The admission sent a small shiver down Jimin’s back. He hoped Jeongguk mistook it for the air conditioning.
Or: Everyone assumes Jeongguk disappears into the gym after every concert because he’s incapable of sitting still. Jimin believes it too, until Jeongguk lets slip that the restless energy keeping him awake has far more to do with Jimin than any lingering adrenaline. After that, Jimin can’t stop wondering what might happen if Jeongguk redirected all that energy toward... him instead. The only problem is that, after nearly ten years together, he has somehow forgotten how to communicate that to his own boyfriend.
