Summary
He's craving a good bowl of ramen, warm and homey, just what he needs. And maybe even a beer or two. Maybe he can even get Iruka-sensei to pay this time, he thinks to himself with a smirk. He tends to be a lot more generous when he comes back with injuries.
He's all but licking his lips under his mask as he approaches the guards’ post. He’s about to walk right past, eager to get home, but a small voice stops him.
“Name and registration number, please.”
He stops and turns around to face the guards. It’s not like he’s above every other ninja, he wouldn’t dare think so, but to be asked his name…His train of thought is stopped right in its tracks when he takes a look at the guards on duty. How odd, he thinks to himself.
“Ka–Hatake. Hatake Kakashi. 009720.”

Summary
William Schofield has a good life. He has a loving wife, two adoring daughters, a steady job, a comfortable house to come home to each night, and the ghost of one Tom Blake following him everywhere he goes.
He also has the eyes of a particular German prisoner of war permanently burned into his mind and the memory of all the unholy things they did together near the end of the war.
William Schofield has a good life. Paul Bäumer is determined to change that.
(or, what if Paul Bäumer and Will Schofield met at the end of the war and got nasty with each other out of grief for their dead lovers/situationships? Paul is mourning Kat, Will is mourning Blake, and they fuck each other about it)

Summary
“What’s wrong with me?” Akechi half-turns towards him, finally deigning a proper response. “The same thing that is wrong with everything, Kurusu. Unfair deals are how the world works. You either learn to play the game well enough you get to set the terms…
“...or you end up backed into a corner with no options but play along and be a good little slut.” The last words are more at Yusuke again, hot against the shell of his ear. “Do you have options, Kitagawa?”
A Palace infiltration goes wrong.
