Summary
When Wei Wuxian brings a critically ill A-Yuan to Gusu for treatment, he offers a very enticing bargain: submitting himself freely to cleansing and punishment by the Lan. Then he adds something else that the Lan cannot possibly turn down: take in all of the Wen remnants as well, and he will destroy the Stygian Tiger Seal first.
Lan Qiren isn't about to let an opportunity to rid the world of that thing pass by. He just wishes he had a better idea of the complications doing so will bring.

Wei Wuxian quietly plucks Lan Wangji’s hand from the air, setting it gently on his stomach, just as he leans over and grabs another bite.
“Wei Ying? Is your stomach hurting?” Lan Wangji presses his hand gently on Wei Wuxian’s stomach. “Did you get medicine?”
Wei Wuxian sets his chopsticks down. “Don’t press too hard, Lan Zhan.” He murmurs, kissing Lan Wangji’s forehead. “You’ll squish our baby.”
As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Wei Wuxian felt a rush of relief. He isn’t carrying the secret alone anymore.
Lan Wangji is staring at Wei Wuxian with his mouth agape. Wei Wuxian had never even seen his husband’s jaw drop, even when he had revealed that he gave his golden core away.
“Our…” Lan Wangji trails off, quietly rubbing Wei Wuxian’s stomach.
“Mhm.” Wei Wuxian smiles, setting his chopsticks down. “Our baby, Lan Zhan.”

In a few letters, the boldest might ask for him directly, after all, he is Hanguang-Jun. The only letters he’s ever received personally were thank-you notes. So it doesn’t particularly surprise him when someone leaves him a letter bearing his name. No specific colors, no seal—clearly not from any prominent clan. See? Just grateful civilians.
But the surprise hits him like a crashing tide when he reads the very first line. It’s his name—yes, his name! But his name name: Lan Zhan. A name used by only one person. A person who has been rejecting him lately—again and again. A person who is now exiled in the Burial Mounds.
