“Guess who else is here,” Zoro declared, his tone balancing between teasing and grumpy. Chopper raised his head and gasped.
“Is this Torao?!”
“Hi, Tony-ya,” the man in question replied, seemingly unfazed.
Wait. This wasn’t right. This couldn’t be right. Torao was supposed to be in his “what the hell” stage. He was supposed to be screaming murder, refusing to stay in the same room as Luffy, claiming he’d never marry someone so strange. Then Usopp and the others would get to tease the guy as much as they liked. Don’t be like this, Torao-kun, you’ll get used to it soon enough, Luffy tends to grow on you. They’d waited for Torao’s arrival for ages. They’d discussed what to say to him. They’d rehearsed! More than once!
And now Torao had the gall to act like nothing was out of the ordinary!
Luffy and Law time-travel to the past and proceed to make quite a few changes, which we see from other people’s perspective.
