Before Rocky is ready, Grace points the cylinder at him. “How do you say Grace in your language?” it asks.
Well, you don’t. You don’t say Grace in any language on Erid. Eridian language simply does not have the sounds to say Grace. Without knowing what Grace represents in this alien language other than a squishy sack of liquid and organs, Rocky cannot say Grace in Eridian, just like Grace cannot say Rocky’s Eridian name and just gave him a different one. Did Grace want him to come up with a name for it? Just like that?
That's a lot of pressure. Too much pressure! Rocky can't help but to blurt the first thing that comes to mind.

Grace dies, Rocky isn't grieving well, so he does what any passionate Eridian would do in his shoes. Invents time-travel just to see his friend one more time. But he over shot the time slot and Ryland Grace is five years old.

Summary
Post-nut clarity is a strange thing. A minute ago Grace was out of his mind horny, possessed by his dick, but now his jizz is drying on his hands as he's having a panic attack in the washroom.
First contact with intelligent alien life, and he is a perv about it. Great job, Ryland.
