Summary
Din was content to leave his demanding, high-risk military career behind when chance led him to Grogu and the two became family. Looking for a quiet life and wanting to raise his adopted son in peace, the two move to Naboo after a doctor recommends a change in climate might alleviate Grogu’s asthma attacks. Din just wants to open the bakery he’s been dreaming of and focus on his son getting better after the horrible experiences of his early childhood. No drama, please. No distractions. There’s just one little problem. The neighbor who cares for the magnificent rooftop garden is incredibly handsome, and what’s even worse, seems to be dreadfully kind.

Summary
Anakin has taken to not leaving his room after being discharged from the Halls of Healing following his amputation. Obi-Wan aches as he watches him moping around and tries not to wince at the desolation that radiates from him. All of his attempts to discuss the battle, the injury and the future fall on deaf ears. So he’s going to make tea, he supposes. A tried and tested method. No matter how angry or upset Anakin is, no matter how sad, he’s never ignored Obi-Wan when he made him tea.

Slowly, Anakin reaches out and lays two fingers against the hollow of Obi-Wan’s throat. His heartbeat is slow and regular. The Force bond between them seems calm and quiet. Anakin tugs on it a bit, just to feel the familiar shape of it, and when Obi-Wan doesn’t tug back, he sighs.
“Master?”

After losing an arm in the battle of Geonosis, Anakin wakes up, hurting, in the Halls of Healing back on Coruscant. He has no idea where his Master is. He’s close, though. He can sense him.

Bob props himself up on his elbows to look at John properly. Lying there between his legs, with his back all scratched up, his hair a mess, he looks – content. He’s getting sleepy and resembles a golden retriever about to take a nap. Deep laugh lines radiate from the corners of his eyes when he smiles like this, and for some time after they all moved into the tower, none of them got to see John like that. Everyone walked around Bob on tiptoes, but he thinks that actually, John was the tough case to crack.

Can a person ever truly change their mind about someone?
John thinks about Bob drifting off during movie nights and resting his head against John’s shoulder; about Bob instinctively taking a step closer to him in the coffeeshop when an old drunk started yelling at a barista; about Bob seeing him shirtless and blushing furiously, choking on his coffee; about Bob looking at him and grinning, scrunching his nose in a way that was growing on John rather alarmingly.

Marrying Anakin had been easy. She’d looked at the bruises still fresh on his skin, the new, haunted shadow in his eyes, and the mechanical arm clumsily covered with a glove, and her heart had bloomed like a dlalvhai, love and ache in equal measure. Her insides had quivered as she’d slipped her hand into his and thought we’re both so young.
But war didn’t care about the young or the old. It would come for them regardless.

He is undeniably, horrifically, extremely attached to Anakin Skywalker. Whether he ever directly faces it or not, Obi-Wan is aware of it on some level. He knows it because he indulges Anakin. He indulges him, probably far too much. At least that's what he suspects anyone else would say, if they found out he fucks his former apprentice for most of the war, because Anakin wants it. Needs it. Asks for it. And Obi-Wan gives Anakin everything he possibly can. Even if it risks destroying them both. Even if he is flagrantly violating the Jedi Code.

He continued to idly run his fingers through Anakin's hair, making Anakin's toes curl from the easy, uncomplicated bliss sparking along his nerve endings. If human bodies were capable of it, Anakin was certain he would have been purring by now. "That seems rather extreme. Even by your standards."
