Summary
Chad had never put much thought into his relationship with Ben and Audrey. He didn’t question why they wanted to date him, simply taking comfort in the fact that there were at least two people out there that wanted him around. An overheard conversation from some classmates makes him start to reevaluate things though. It wasn’t true that Ben and Audrey didn’t expect him to contribute much to their relationship, right? He wasn’t just kept around for his looks and entertainment value. At least, he was pretty sure he wasn’t.
Except maybe he was? Chad wasn’t sure how to go about fixing it though, and throw in Ben’s first edict as king-to-be, and suddenly they were juggling transfer students from the Isle on top of everything else.
It wasn't a recipe for disaster. It wasn't. Chad refused to allow it to be.
Also known as: That time Chad attempted to train himself to be a better prince, and somehow managed to change the political and romantic ecosystem of Auradon as he knew it. It was entirely by accident, but hey, no one’s complaining.
